I don’t know about you, but I’ve been looking forward to 2023 since November.
2022 has been quite the year. Good for the most part but always room for improvement.
Like many business owners, I’m not great at being still and staying present – instead I prefer to look forward, and I’m always asking what’s next or how can I take this up a notch. But before I get ahead of myself, I’m pausing and taking stock.
Here are a few of the 2022 moments that I’m thankful for and delighted to share:
In 2022, I joined the board of NJAWBO, an organization that has played a huge role in my entrepreneurial development.
I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to share Striking Business Gold at JCPromotions Inc.’s Women’s Lifestyle Expo and the Access Success Networking September event.
Proud to vend and participate for another year at the multi-city SIB Expo and this year I joined my co-author as a vendor at the IGNITE Summit.
I was also invited to participate on panels, like ActLikeaLadyThinkLikeaBoss’s Boss Business Shower, and deliver legal trainings for various organizations.
I’m thankful to have been honored by the Harlem Business Alliance.
Lastly, the opportunity to work in one of my favorite cities (J’adore Paris) for a month was the highlight of the year.
